Lake Naivasha lies some 80km north of Nairobi in the Rift Valley. Not only does it irrigate and fertilise the surrounding land with its fresh water, but it is also home to an abundance of bird species. Sadly, human activity is directly threatening the water levels and building works hamper access to the lake.
