This large granite mountain range belongs to the pre-coastal Catalan range. To the south-west is the Del Montseny Nature Reserve that stretched over 17,372 ha, with the Matagalls (1,695 m), Agudes (1,644 m) and Turó de l'Home (1,707 m) being the main peaks.
