This state-of-the-art aquarium, one of the finest in the world, is located in a former sardine cannery. Spread over two levels, it showcases the rich marine life of Monterey Bay and the local flora and fauna, featuring more than 300,000 animals and nearly 600 species of plants. The exhibitions are ranked by theme and environment, from the shoreline to the depths of the bay: jelly fish, seaweed, sardines, sharks and sealions. The Jellies Experience showcases tropical, beautifully colored jelly fish.
