A reminder of the importance of Montereau earthenware in the 19C. In 25 display cabinets, over 400 pieces produced in Montereau between 1750 and 1955 are exhibited. One room of the museum is given over to the battle of 18 February 1814: a model with over 3 000 figurines sets the scene of the combat, and a sound reconstruction brings it to life.
