This square, completely lacking in symmetry, is fronted on one side with houses with buttresses and arcades (14C, 15C and 16C), built along the lines of the former ramparts which serve as their foundations. Place St Louis boasts a certain charm, and is the perfect setting for a drink either on an outdoor terrace or in one of the cafés beneath its arches.
