This 16C church is an example of so-called aristocratic Gothic architecture. Its Baroque tower was completed in 1623. It replaced an earlier church that was built over a former mosque. Do not miss the superb Plateresque altarpiece above the main altar by Roque Boldaque, Juan Bautista Vázquez and Melchor de Turín. With the mystery of the coronation as its main theme, it illustrates scenes from the life of Jesus and the Virgin Mary.
