A staircase leads to the terrace, which forms a parapet above the former Gallo-Roman and medieval ramparts of Meaux. As you walk onto the parapet, you will notice the 17C pavilion where Bossuet would spend the night alone to meditate and write. From here, enjoy a fine view of the garden, the bishops' palace and the cathedral.
