A cable car takes visitors up to within a few metres of the summit of Monte Capanne. At an altitude of 1 019m (15min walk round trip from the cable car), enjoy the sweeping panorama over the entire island, the Tuscan coast to the east and the western coast of Corsica to the west. The walk back down through the sweet chestnut trees takes about 2hrs and is moderately challenging.
