Maison Brunet, at N°5 and 6, with its 365 windows, is a characteristic Lyon silk worker's house. The square commands a pretty view over Lyon: the belfry rising up amidst the red roofs of the Presqu'île, the former Crédit Lyonnais edifice dominating the Part-Dieu district and Fourvière hill and, further to the right, the spires of St Nizier.
