This park preserves ruins of a 14C pueblo, cliffside dwellings and a ceremonial cave and kiva. The visitor centre provides an interesting introduction to this fascinating site, where visitors can follow the Main Loop Trail to see the ruins of Tyuonyi Pueblo and its 400 dwellings. Continue along the Nature Trail which leads to Alcove House, a crevice in the cliff where wooden ladders allow visitors to climb to a kiva, a traditional Indian ceremonial room.
