Three monumental gates lead to this estate, the remains of which bear witness to the fortune and power of the royal adviser, Constantin Faulkon. With its Western style of architecture, Vichayen House could easily blend into a European city. Located close to the River Mae Nam Lopburi, it had numerous outbuildings and even a bath house fed by a water tank. It served as a residence for the Chevalier de Chaumont and his retinue, as well as for the Jesuits from the French embassy.
