Since the 13C, this unusual chapel with its cupola and slender bell-tower has been a place of mountain pilgrimage on 15 August and the first Sunday in September. Inside note the altarpiece of the high altar, devoted to the Virgin Mary, made of Arolla pine wood in the 17C. The paintings on the dome, by the school of Nicolas Oudéard, depict the Trinity and the Virgin Mary. Seventy recently restored ex-votos grace the chapel entrance.
