Like a secret garden nestled at the bottom of a distant forest, the outline of the Château du Moulin is reflected on the peaceful waters of its moat. Decorated with mullioned windows, pinnacles and finely worked dormers, this handsome medieval fortress ushers in the Renaissance period. In the garden, designed by Dr Joachim Carvallo, the flowerbeds play with perspective to create the illusion of depth. The vegetable garden gives pride of place to strawberries.
