The Cathedral of St John the Evangelist or Cathédrale St-Jean is an imposing red-brick building built in the Dutch Romanesque style (1918). The mother church of 121 parishes has magnificent stained-glass windows depicting the events in the life of St John, and mosaic Stations of the Cross. But it is especially famous for the almost 500 year-old oak tree that stands in the small adjacent park. Impressive!
