This 18ha-zoo is set within the magnificent landscape of La Palmyre forest. The waymarked tour, dotted with lakes and ponds, takes visitors past some 1,600 animals from every corner of the globe. A huge flock of pink flamingos greets visitors at the entrance. Don't miss the impressive Polar-bear enclosure, which recreates an ice floe, or the Great Apes' enclosure (chimpanzees, orang-utans from Borneo and gorillas). The baby animals in the nursery will bring a smile to the faces of visitors, young and old.
