The Pioneers' Sawmill bears witness to the settlement at Lac St Jean and the importance of the forest industry. The visit to the hydraulic sawmill (1920) in perfect working order and a rare wooden water gutter are the highlights of the visit. Other points of interest include the Félix Trottier & Fils mechanical workshop and smithy (1894), the log drivers' camp and its lookout tower, the pioneer's house (1904) and the Little Farm.
