Erosion has here created a spectacular landsdcape, carving bizarre shapes out of the limestone rock. Established in 1993, the national park is covered in coniferous forest, a refuge for protected flora and fauna. The most specatacular spot is the Errant Rocks reserve, a 21ha-rock labyrinth. Beyond Karlow, head on foot to the Szczeliniec Wielki reserve. At the top of 665 steps cut into the rosk, there is a fine view eastwards over the Klodzko region and westwards across the Czech frontier.
