A cable car whisks you up to the top of the Kitzbüheler Horn (1 996m). It affords fabulous panoramic views: the jagged outline of the Kaisergebirge to the northwest, the Kitzbühel estate to the southwest, dominated by the Rettenstein, and the Hohe Tauern to the south. In summer, the Kitzbüheler Horn is a rallying point for hikes to the Bichlalm (1 670m, 3hr, wear adequate footwear). From there, you can go down by chair lift and back to the resort by bus.
