A section of the ruins of this Benedictine abbey is home to a room that projects a video on the discovery of the Baska stele and the deciphering of the Glagolitic alphabet. The Romanesque church boasts a fine square gate tower and a single very plain nave. At the railings of the chancel, note the copy of the famous stele. This stone, engraved in the 11C, is the oldest known document bearing the word "Croatian". The original was transferred to Zagreb in 1934.
