With its twin 40m-high brick towers, the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit is one of the country's most remarkable Gothic churches. Founded in the 14C by the dowager queen Elisabeth, widow of Venceslas II, it was altered several times, particularly in the 19C. The lofty, sober interior boasts a few treasures, such as some pewter baptismal fonts and an altar work by Peter Brandl (1686-1735) depicting Saint Anthony.
