Koko Crater is a volcanic tuff cone, created some 10,000 years ago. The 60-acre basin is home to a newly developing, hot and dry garden of desert-loving plants. Take the 1.5-mile self-guided walk through the garden, then head over to nearby Sandy Beach to cool off.
