There's no mistaking the financial district, centrally located between the China Sea and Victoria Peak. The Stock Exchange, one of the most important on the planet - stands on Exchange Square and is surrounded by impressive skyscrapers (Star Ferry Pier, IFC Mall, HSBC Building) and shopping centres interlinked by footbridges. A few colonial houses and buildings remain, though, such as the neo-Colonial Legislative Council, where laws are passed.
