Hollywood Road and Upper Lascar Road are dotted with all sorts of antique galleries and second-hand dealers, from the most scrupulous collector of precious objects, gleaned from all over Asia, to the most devious who sell counterfeits mimicking the real McCoy. The Tai Kwuna Cultural Complex has an art museum, shops and restaurants and, a little further along, the Police Married Quarter for design and creativity. At weekends, its central courtyard comes alive with markets and cultural events.
