Surrounded by vineyards, this castle was built between 1480 and 1495 by Christophe de Goulaine, a Gentleman-in-Waiting of Louis XII and François I. Left over from its military vocation, it still has a machicolated tower and a castelet, with a bridge spanning the moat. The 15C main edifice, built in tufa in the ogival style, was extended by two wings in the early 17C. Inside, you can visit the 15C kitchen and parlours (fireplaces, coffered ceiling, wainscoting).
