The Pagoda of National Defence was originally built in the 6C on the banks of the Red River. Following a landslide, it was dismantled then rebuilt on Ca Vang island (Goldfish Island) in the West Lake in 1615. On arrival on the island admire the monastic cemetery and the small forest of smaller brick pagodas engraved with different characters. Via a small jetty you then reach the sanctuary, the main room of which is typical of the rustic harmony of 17C architecture.
