N°4 of Széchenyi tér square is known as the house of the iron tree stump. This abode owes its name to a tree stump full of nails that can be seen in a corner. One of the town's old customs required all passing craftsmen to hammer a nail into the stump. The house is now home to the Imre Patkó (1922-83) collection.
