This imposing castle (16C-18C), which looms over the city, still stands proud with its handsome Flamboyant Gothic octagonal tower (15C). Note the rare mechanical steel and ebony lathe with ivory handles, which was used for woodworking and watchmaking. Transformed into a princely residence, the castle is adorned with woodwork, fireplaces, alcoves, stairways and exotic gardens.
