This large provencal bastide was for a time the residence of the famous artist and local boy, Jean-Honoré Fragonard. The villa now provides the backdrop to replicas of four works given by the artist to the Comtesse du Barry, Louis XV's favourite. Le Rendez-Vous, La Poursuite, Les Lettres and L'Amant couronné depict the different stages of the progress of love. Works by other members of this artistic family, including his son, Alexandre-Évariste Fragonard, are also displayed here.
