A first-rate living-history museum, Conner Prairie has several distinct sections. For instance, Prairietown, a composite 1836 Midwestern village, or Conner Homestead, a Federal-style building (1823), where you can learn about Ohio fur trader William Conner, who lived among the local Delaware Native Americans for 17 years. The museum offers a good idea of how the region evolved after the arrival of the first European settlers.
