Beschrijving

This museum, which occupies Nossa Senhora Assunção, the former convent built in the 16C, houses a large archaeological collection (Museu Arqueológico Lapidar do Infante Dom Henrique), divided among the galleries of the cloister. A room on the first floor presents a fine collection of paintings from the 16C to 19C.
