This transitional Gothic-style cathedral, built in the late 12C and 13C has certain Romanesque features. Its austere pink-granite façade is flanked by two robust towers crowned with conical steeples that were erected in the 16C. The west door is decorated with a depiction of the apostles. The sheer size of the central nave, and the elegance of the triforium is striking. A Gothic cloister and a sacred art museum boasting a fine collection of religious silver work, round off the visit.
