Visitors to Epernay can enjoy a tour of the cellars of leading champagne brands such as Moët & Chandon, Mercier and De Castellane. These prestigious champagne houses, some of which date back to the 18C, are situated on the 1km-long Avenue de Champagne. They are located above the chalk cliffs, which are home to dozens of kilometres of galleries with a constant temperature of 9-12°C.
