This church was built on the site of a synagogue in the old Jewish quarter. The interior has a single nave decorated with attractive stuccos (Putti (figures of children), garlands, shellfish) by Gabriele de Blanco da Licodia. There is a beautiful sculpted-wood covering around the gallery in which the nuns sit during worship.
