On the edge of Valencia, Albufera Natural Park protects a wonderful lagoon. Separated from the sea by a narrow offshore bar of dunes, it has been made use of since the 13C, for rice fields and fishing areas. The landscapes of reeds, inhabited by over 250 species of birds and where water is omnipresent, are worth taking some time to explore in a traditional boat.
