The Megyeháza dates from the 1750s and was built by a Viennese architect. Admire the work of Heinrik Fazola, particularly the railings above the main door, representing Faith, Hope and Charity. Two other wrought-iron gates in the passageway are justifiably considered the most famous examples of Hungarian ironwork.
