De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This attractive townhouse was probably built before 1490. The west wall bears the coat of arms of goldsmith James Mosman, whose father designed the royal crown of Scotland. The edifice, said to have been where John Knox died in 1572, houses an exhibition on the preacher's life. An interesting painted ceiling (1600) graces the main room on the second floor.
