The Old Steeple, as the oldest building in Dundee is known, is all that remains of the original parish church dating from the 14C and 15C. St Mary's is adorned with some beautiful stained-glass windows by Burne-Jones and Morris, and in the southern aisle there is a fine scene depicting Gethsemane.
