Fair Park, vast 112ha grounds set up for the Texas Centennial Exposition in 1936, hosts the largest state fair in the US. Running for 24 days, the fair attracts millions of visitors. It is also a sporting and cultural centre open year-round, with Cotton Bowl Stadium for American football, the Music Hall and Gexa Energy Pavilion, where open-air concerts are held. Fair Park also has museums, many of which (Hall of State, aquarium) are built in a spectacular Art Deco style.
