This French-style railway station may resemble Deauville's; indeed both were built in the 1930s. Dalat handles very few passengers nowadays, apart from those taking the tourist train to Trai Mat, just 7km away. Railway services ceased here in the 1960s, following attacks by the Viet Cong. The building still has its original furniture, but the steam locomotive from the same period is only for show these days.
