Originally built in 1535, the convent was entirely reconstructed after an earthquake in 1650. Its austere exterior hides an extravagant interior featuring three naves adorned with works by masters (Zurbarán, Rubens, Bitti). Don't miss the stunning cloisters and garden, or the fine religious museum, which showcases a huge solid gold monstrance, 1.3m high, incrusted with 3,000 pearls, diamonds and precious stones. Go down into Padre Salamanca's cell, covered in murals.
