The clock tower marks the entrance to the port, near a Renaissance loggia, where a fruit and vegetable market takes place in the morning. This very irregularly shaped port is lined with colourful façades, cafes and restaurants. Towards the marina lies St Frances Square (Trg Sv. Frane), home to the church of the monastery of St Frances and its double cloisters.
