This church was built in the upper part of the town in the 13C, but it was heavily altered in the 18C and particularly in the 19C. Inside, gables with a very original design top the Gothic tomb of the saint, whose body is on view at the high altar. The esplanade commands fine views of the town, with the valley below and Lake Trasimeno in the distance. Note the Stations of the Cross depicted in mosaics by Severini on Via Santa Margherita.
