The villa is part of the archaeological site of Conímbriga and dates from the first half of the 2C. The layout of the rooms is clearly discernible from the bases of the columns and the flooring, which is largely made up of magnificent mosaics. The living quarters and the communal areas were distributed around these rooms. Their floors are covered with an extraordinary variety of mosaics: polychrome composition, with hunting scenes, the four seasons and a quadriga, geometrical and plant motifs.
