This, the world's largest indoor aquarium, houses thousands of aquatic creatures from around the globe, from microscopic lobsters to 650kg beluga whales. A string of exhibitions emphasises conservation and the environment, presenting in particular the Caribbean Reef, the Amazon and the waters of the world. A pioneer of urban aquariums, it has transformed many of its past exhibits into mini-ecosystems that support not only fish but plant life and birds.
