Fine examples of folk art are displayed thematically with the emphasis on the region's four ethnographic areas: Maramures, Lapus, Chioar and Codru. Village tools (including an 1878 honey press and an 1861 grape press), ceramic and pottery collections, icons on wood and glass, and regional costume are on show.
