Designed by Charles Androuet du Cerceau, a member of the famous family of architects, Hôtel Sully is a handsome 17C private mansion, fronted by a huge courtyard.) A museum since 1945, it housed historical, artistic and ethnographical collections about the city until it was closed in 2004. The best pieces are exhibited at the Auto Moto Vélo museum of la Manu.
