Established in a former granary hall, do not miss one of the finest collections of Italian art outside the Louvre. Highlights include works by the Primitives of Siena (Bartolo di Fredi), Renaissance paintings (the famous Portrait of a Young Man by Domenico Veneziano) and 17C-18C works, including a mini gallery of Florentine portraits. 19C artists representing the neo-Classical movement, and painters of alpine landscapes are also on display.
