This large, slightly dilapidated but elegant square is one of the oldest in Cádiz. It was the preferred place to live for the bourgeoisie in the 17C before becoming the city's main square in the 19C. Over time it has been used as a bullfight arena and even a cinema. On one side stands the Baroque façade of the Iglesia de San Antonio. The square is also lined by several elegant 19C buildings and, at n° 15, the Casino of Cádiz, with its impressive neo-Mudéjar patio.
