The Roselius building, an old merchant's property dating back to 1588, contains numerous pieces of furniture, paintings and objets d'art (12C-19C), including works by Cranach the Elder and a Pietà by Tilman Riemenschneider. A passage leads directly to the Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum, which exhibits work by this painter, one of the pioneers of modern painting.
