11am-6pm - closed Tue and Bank Hols (except 14 Jul, 15 Aug)
The fine arts museum presents a selection of around 500 pieces of the 8 000 it owns (Western art from the 15C-20C). The south wing shows art from France (17C-19C), the Italian Renaissance and Baroque art (Rubens). The north wing is worth taking your time over: modern and contemporary paintings are exhibited side by side, with the Romantics (Delacroix) and Impressionists (Renoir, Morisot and Gervex). The museum also fetes local painters, including Rosa Bonheur and Odile Redon.
